Event Location 1: Royal Tropical Institute

Looking for inspiration? Come to ARTIS. We have different venues, each with its own character. In the centre of Amsterdam lies the Hortus Botanicus, one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world. Over four centuries, since its foundation in 1638, an impressive collection of trees and plants has been brought together, offering an unique decor for a meeting, reception or dinner.

Event location 4: Hermitage
Walk through the courtyard and feel the calmness. Then enter the 17th-century building. You will find it amazing to see so much daylight inside the museum. This natural light alongside the architecture creates a modern and inspiring environment. In addition to the wonderful exhibitions, we offer many possibilities for meeting and events.
On the first floor you will find the Café Restaurant. It has a great atmospheric setting for a dinner or a reception. Directly above it, there are several meeting rooms of different sizes. These rooms have a capacity to welcome from 2 to 400 guests.

Event location 7: Uilenburgersjoel
Close to Waterlooplein you will find the 250-year-old Uilenburgersjoel.
Centrally located, the Uilenburger synagogue is a historic monument in Louis XV-style. It was originally established in 1766 for the holding of Jewish religious services, and it served as such for nearly 200 years. It is one of the few remaining original buildings constructed on the former island of Uilenburg. Following the Second World War, the building was used for various purposes, and has since been handed over by the Municipality of Amsterdam to the Uilenburgersjoel Foundation, giving the Uilenburger synagogue back its historic character and making it a social and cultural centre. The renovation and modernization of the synagogue was finished in 2015. The synagogue can be a marvellous decor for dinners, presentations, weddings and receptions. By hosting your event in the Uilenburgersjoel you contribute to conservation of the sjoel and the creation of public interest programs.
