Every three years, DSM organizes its Top Management Conference. The 300 highest-ranking managers and directors fly in from all over the world to strengthen the connection with each other and with DSM. Passenger Terminal Amsterdam was the center for sharing networks, knowledge, and inspiration for two days.
From blank canvas to perfect base
For this client, the modern, sleek appearance of the terminal served as a 'blank canvas' to give it their own interpretation within this theme. With the help of the partners at Passenger Terminal Amsterdam, DSM created a fitting setting in which the theme of sustainable living and health was clearly visible. Thanks to the abundance of glass, the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is a beacon of daylight, which proved to be the perfect base for this two-day conference.
Made optimal use of the versatility of the location
The many components of the conference program were a perfect match for the versatility of the venue. By constructing a black box with 180-degree LED screens on the Main Deck, an impressive hall was created for the plenary program. As a result, there were still plenty of other spaces available for the remaining parts. The Promenade Deck and its terrace overlooking the IJ provided the backdrop for the fusion of product presentation and sustainable catering. The other spaces in Passenger Terminal Amsterdam served as breakout rooms for the parallel sessions. In this way, there was room for the many components of the program.
