Unique Venues of Amsterdam has a new website! With renewed vigor, all event venues are restarting their activities after a year that required flexibility and perseverance. Now we are looking ahead, and this restart calls for a new look. We got started
In collaboration with various experts, we examined the opportunities and current usage of the website. Where do people find us, what are they looking for, and how can we optimize this on the new website? It became clear that people are specifically looking for locations and that the most important factor is convenience in filtering based on preferences during an event. Additionally, there is a lot of contact with various venues. A clear picture, therefore.
So what is different?
Based on this analysis, we looked at the actual implementation. The most important thing was that the locations are clearly organized and well-presented. Therefore, photos play an important role on the new website. The functionality with filter options has also been optimized. You can now filter the locations based on multiple criteria. This way, nothing stands in your way of quickly making the right choice of location.
Corporate Identity
Not only were the functionalities updated on this new website, but we also took a close look at our logo and the accompanying corporate identity. We concluded that these were also due for a new version. It was important that the city of Amsterdam remained central, both in the logo and on the website. Naturally, this needed to flow seamlessly into the corporate identity. Fun fact: the final inspiration was found in the old coat of arms of Amsterdam. The versatility of colors in the coat of arms made it possible to create a palette for this new website that suits us as an association in terms of both appearance and core values.

The foundation is in place, and now we are going to bring it to life. In the coming period, you will not only be able to find your favorite location but also be surprised with plenty of inspiration.
