The ins and outs of this event case
As is often the case with the beginning of such projects, this one began as well. The organizers of The Best Chef Awards approached us regarding the availability of our venue. We were able to accept this assignment with great enthusiasm. Not only because the project fits this location perfectly, but also because it was one of the first larger events after a long and quiet period due to COVID. Het Sieraad has extensive experience with these types of events, and our staff cannot wait to get back to working on this full-time. We strived for a flexible collaboration with the organizers of The Best Chef Awards at all times. As a result, we were able to create an unforgettable evening for everyone.
To start with, a unique five-course dinner took place that evening. It was prepared by various Michelin-starred chefs, including RIJKS®, Wils, Daalder, De Librije, and Merlet. The dessert was also provided by one of the best Dutch and international pastry chefs. Afterwards, the award show took place. Finally, a party was held that evening at the Plaatwerkerij of Het Sieraad (The Jewel).
Teamwork makes the dream work
The collaboration between the star chefs, managers, and all the staff on the floor was truly unique. Every space in Het Sieraad was well utilized. The chefs worked hard on 350 dishes, and the service staff stood ready to serve everything to the guests. To serve the dishes as quickly and efficiently as possible, walking routes were marked out. This worked fantastically.
