In this blog, Hete Peper introduces itself, and we ask about their most memorable moment at one of the Unique Venues.
Let me introduce myself
If you ask Hete Peper to describe themselves, they give the following answer: a caterer who likes to do things just a little differently. They believe in food that tells the story of the evening, that food is more than a meal; it tells the story of the evening. They are only too happy to delve into the art of culinary storytelling. This also means they are not afraid to push the boundaries. They want to stimulate, challenge, and convey the message of the event to the guests as strongly as possible.
But what is the best thing to call Hete Peper for? When are they at their best?
We asked them themselves, and the answer was clear: events where they are involved from the very beginning to shape the concept together with the client. A message, a target audience, and creative freedom. For Hete Peper, that is the starting point for in-depth exploration and research, to set concept development in motion and look far beyond the boundaries of the field. To tell the story of an event in the strongest possible way, Hete Peper loves mixing various ingredients from technology, fashion, art, and science.
The event that will never be forgotten..
Now that we have gotten to know this creative caterer a little better, we are curious about a moment that will always stay with her. We all know it: that one event that, for whatever reason, stays in your mind.
For Hete Peper, that was the annual season opening of the Concertgebouw Orchestra at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam. A logistical challenge, involving 250 staff members, 1,800 enthusiastic visitors, and a high-end walking dinner. A mini-restaurant is built in every foyer to create a great sense of quality and service. And the icing on the cake? That is the striking dessert featuring the well-known Orchestra Building crown as the showpiece of the evening. For the visitors to the Orchestra Building, an evening never to be forgotten. And for Hete Peper and their partner? A turbulent evening, where no fewer than 1,800 desserts are produced in an hour and a half with blood, sweat, and tears, when the pastry chef unexpectedly suffers a nervous breakdown. That Hete Peper loves a challenge has been an undeniable fact ever since.
