Felix Meritis is closed for renovation

CLOSED FOR RENOVATION

Felix Meritis is closed from January 2017 and there will be a renovation site. The monumental building is in need of thorough restoration; the treads are worn, occasionally paint peels off the walls. Of course, that gives the building its charm but also shows that it is time for a grand recovery. In the autumn of 2018 we will open the doors of the modernized Felix Meritis and we welcome you for various events again.

Felix Meritis is part of Amerpodia, where De Nieuwe Liefde (‘New Love’), de Rode Hoed (‘Red Hat’) and Compagnietheater also belong too. The ambition of Amerpodia is to give these four particular houses an even stronger position in the social and cultural life of Amsterdam. By developing a collaborative organization in which each of these houses, retaining its own identity and character, using each other’s know-how, creativity, skills and networks. The aim is to make the stages more powerful and financially independent.
