In 2002, Classic Boat Tours was founded by Frank.. Mireille and their cousin Ellen soon joined them, making it a true family business. All three grew up working in the hospitality industry on ferries in Enkhuizen and have now had their own passionate business for 23 years.

From the very beginning, the company has used three vessels—Libelle, La Reine, and Prix d'eau—and there was no need to expand the fleet. This was done to ensure quality and allow them to focus. The boats are moored in their home port at the Amstel Hotel and are available for hire for private cruises, such as wedding dinners, birthday receptions, and lunch cruises. Thanks to their extensive network, it is also possible to hire other boats. In this way, Classic Boat Tours always ensures a boat that best suits the guest's wishes. And with the help of a large pool of freelance skippers, they always have access to experienced assistance.

What makes Classic Boat Tours unique is that they won't rest until they have the perfect program for their guests; that is what they strive for. They also dare to say no if the request doesn't suit them.
