A unique event requires a unique location, we know that better than anyone. In a historic setting, International Theatre of Amsterdam (ITA) offers intimate meeting rooms for 15 people to a gala venue for up to 2000 partygoers. We have a suitable space for every customized event. Even your wedding ceremony can take place in one of our foyers or venues.
With all the knowledge and equipment in-house, we can always support your event with the very best presentation and theater technology. We can fulfill your catering wishes at any desired level. We like customization!
Good examples of our events are: Boekenbal, TEDx Amsterdam, ADE, New Year’s Reception Rabobank and others. We are also happy to create a special program with a customized proposal together with you.
ITA has a long history of the Huis van het Nederlandse Theater (House of Dutch Theater). The theatre on Leidsesquare dates from 1984. But the history of the Amsterdam theatre dates back much further, from 1638. The theatre burned completely to the ground, twice. It was rebuilt. After a thorough renovation, and the opening of a new state-of-the-art theatre hall in 2009.
ITA is one of the leading lights in Dutch theatre, with a large ensemble of world famous actors and a pioneering team of directors. The theatre is also a major Talent Center focusing on education, development and collaboration.
